Feed Your Good Dog

Positive Thoughts | Positive Actions | Positive Results

Rose Caplan

Welcome!

May 20, 2009 by Rose Caplan

Welcome to Feed Your Good Dog.  Feed Your Good Dog is based on the simple principle that by improving yourself, even just the tiniest bit, you improve the world, too.  Just as a pebble ripples a quiet pond and those ripples spread out and impact everything on the pond and its banks, so you send out ripples in this world, impacting everyone and everything you touch.

Here, you’ll find the story, A Native American Story, which is the genesis of our brand.  Please share it with your family and friends.

If you have questions, comments or suggestions please contact us.

Or contact us, if you have a “Good Dog Deed” that you’d like to tell us about, please visit our Blog and leave a comment. We’d love to hear about how you improved yourself and improved the world!

Remember…Feed Your Good Dog, so your good dog always wins!

Boston College, Spring 2009 Service Trip

April 16, 2009 by Rose Caplan

700 Boston College students spent their 2009 Spring break visiting, among other places, communities through Appalachia in the Southeast and volunteering to make things a little better there.

Each year, these BC student volunteers split up into groups of up to 20 and head out from Boston College at the beginning of their spring break for a long bus ride to Appalachia and their assigned town.

At night, the BC students sleep in sleeping bags on the floors of firehouses, and places of worship. During the day they tutor children, shovel snow, visit the sick and elderly, and build or repair homes as needed. There are enough BC volunteers in a single area they are able to get some jobs done in a day when it would otherwise take a week or two.

And, the best part….some BC students have been known to come back from their trips understanding that they received from the Appalachia community so much more than they gave.

If you have a “Good Dog Deed” that you’d like to tell us about, please visit our Blog and leave a comment. We’d love to hear about how you improved yourself and improved the world!

And, remember… Feed Your Good Dog, so your good dog always wins!
